Camarie has been practicing in pediatrics for over 4 years. She loves being an occupational therapist because it is a profession that allows her to work at the intersection of science, creativity and compassion. She finds great joy in using her knowledge and skills to open doors of opportunity for the children and families she works with. Camarie places high value on the power of play and its ability to change lives. She loves this quote by Fred Rogers- “Play is often talked about as if it were relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”
