Getting started with PTC is a simple and easy. The below steps will help you get started.

Process

Step 1 — The family can call PTC at 713-772-1400 or email Nicole Burford at nicole.burford@ptckids.net to set up an evaluation.

Step 2 — PTC collects the patient’s demographics (Contact Information, Patient’s Diagnosis/Condition and Insurance).

Step 3 — PTC verifies benefit coverage with the patient’s primary insurance. If necessary, PTC will help the family obtain a referral authorization from the primary care physician. PTC will discuss the benefits quoted with the patient’s parent/guardian.

Step 4 — Each patient is carefully paired with a therapist who will then call the patient’s family to set up an appointment for an evaluation.

Step 5 — The patient receives an initial evaluation and is given recommendations. A “Standing Appointment” is made.
